Thanksgiving Feed-A-Family Gratitude –

Twenty-seven families from Ensley Elementary and 3 other families received 4 boxes of food for Thanksgiving dinner & food for their pantry.  Thank you for making their holiday a little bit brighter and letting them know someone cared about them! Thank you to everyone that donated food, money to buy food & everyone that helped with shopping, unloading the bus, packing boxes, taping boxes, delivering food to EES, etc.  Thanks also to The Believers/Pathfinders Sunday School Class for the use of their room to store the 60 boxes of nonperishables & to the YAMS Sunday School Class for moving them to their class room, arranging & numbering the boxes.  You all were truly a blessing to us.  Your help was greatly appreciated.  Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus and showering your love on those less fortunate. —Bob & Peggy Woodard, Outreach

Not A Silent Night by Adam Hamilton

In this 5 week study, you'll have the opportunity to explore the meaning of Christmas through the lens of Mary, the mother of Jesus, in Adam Hamilton's book and DVD Not a Silent Night: Mary Looks Back to Bethlehem. No one was closer to Jesus than Mary and no one shaped his life more than she did.  Because no one knew him better or loved him more, no one paid a bigger price for his birth, life, and death than she.  Yet even in the face of pain and adversity, Mary would magnify the Lord and rejoice in God her Savior.  (from the book's introduction)

Come join the Visions Sunday School class as we travel this journey with Mary.  We meet Sunday mornings at 9:30 in Room 5.
