If you are not involved in a small group (sticky group), take this opportunity to begin and join a group. What is a sticky group? Sticky Groups are small groups which offer community, fellowship, accountability and spiritual growth. Sticky Groups meet weekly and are provided with a list of questions and scriptures prepared by the pastor based on the sermon and scripture from the previous Sunday.
During the school year, Wednesday evenings provide a multitude of opportunities for children, youth, and adults.
The activities begin with dinner at 5:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. After dinner children can participate in Power Up and Splash!; while youth and adults attend Bible studies at 6:00 p.m. Youth studies are held in the Youth Center. For those adults interested in singing God’s praises, the Adult Choir welcomes you at 7:00 p.m. We would love to have you join us for a fine meal and fellowship on Wednesday evenings.

We are excited to have a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group at St. Luke beginning this fall on Wednesday mornings! MOPS is for moms of children from birth to school age and is open to all moms - they don't need to be members of St. Luke. SPLASH! - What is SPLASH? It is our exciting Wed. night program! Grades K – 5 begin at 6 PM in the Sanctuary for POWER UP, which is opening worship and general silliness, much like our VBS opening. The Bible story is presented in a creative, engaging way. Then, around 6:30 PM, the children are dismissed for small group time where they do hands-on activities that reinforce the Bible lesson.
For our preschoolers, they will have Cherub Choir at 6:00 PM, followed by their own small group time in the classroom.
Pastor's Bible Study - “The Call” (2016 WNT Study led by Pastor Don Abrams)
The books are IN for Pastor Don’s new small group study, “The Call.” He has ordered extra if you would like to join this class. Please see info below!
Pastor Don be leading a small group study on the Apostle Paul beginning in January 2016. He will be using The Call written by Adam Hamilton as the anchor for this study.

Twenty Somethings Sticky Group facilitated by Linda Anderson (Room 2) Young, college-aged, vibrant, God-fearing, future leaders of the church.
All Ages and Stages Sticky Group facilitated by Melissa Dorsett & Ramona Jett (Room 3) We have parents with young children and then we have some empty nesters. We also have couples and singles. Many in our group are/were teachers. We meet at the church on Wednesday evenings. We have about 10 members, but have room for more. We use the discussion questions from the Sunday sermons, but we also share and build Christian relationships during our time together.
Room 5 Sticky Group, led by Angela Barberi (Room 5) Fairly new group, dedicated to reaching deeper into each week’s sermon and growing new and strong relationships with common believers.
‘The Early Risers’ Group’ – 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month, 6:30 a.m., Village Inn – 9 Mile Road; Leader: Joe Lovoy
Our sticky group is for early risers. We meet at 6:30 AM , the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at the Village Inn on 9 Mile Road. Year round. All are invited. We have fellowship, discuss last Sunday's sermon or a selected biblical passage. We also talk sports and such like. Did we mention that all are invited?
Wednesday Morning Bible Study –led by Rev. Dan Nigolian. This class meets each Wednesday from 10:00 -11:30 AM, in Room 2 (note meeting location change). Dr. Dan Nigolian will be offering a Bible Study that is a Biblical Anthropology. The study will be offered from 10:00 to 11:30 each Wednesday morning. We'll be looking into the nature and character of mankind as the Bible reveals it in the early parts of Genesis. What were we like before the Fall of Man? How did God actually create us to be from the start? What have we lost now that sin has entered into our World? Addressing these questions will give us insight into how God would like us to be today. ‘Men’s Only Accountability’ Group – Every Friday, 6:00 a.m., Hardees – 9 Mile Road & University Parkway; Leader: Rick Chappotin
A men’s accountability group, growing stronger in God’s word.
Peace, Love, and Yoga Pants - Tuesday 7:30-8:30 p.m. at Panera. Leader: Rebekah Lorton. Description: This group is for all busy moms who need a break from the chaos of raising kids and managing a family. Come and join your girlfriends who are walking the same crazy path as you and be encouraged in this calling of motherhood. Enjoy an hour of girl time where we talk about what’s going on in our lives, discuss Sunday’s sermon, and let our hair down. New and experienced moms are welcome. Come! Find some peace. Get loved on. Be encouraged.
Note: “The month of January we will be meeting at Amanda Swafford's home on Tues at 7:30 but after then we will go back to Panera again. She doesn't have childcare that month so we are meeting at her house. And yes! The more the merrier!”
