Youth Ministries

Welcome to the St. Luke UMC Student Ministry page!

I’m glad you’ve made it here to find out information about the Student Ministry.

We have three main worship experiences for 6th -12th graders each week.

1. On Sunday mornings at 9:30 and 11:00 we have age appropriate Sunday School classes.

2. Our main weekly youth service is on Sunday evenings. Middle & High School students meet from 5:00 till 7:00 each Sunday evening.

3. We also have Bible Study each Wednesday from 6 - 7!

In addition to our 3 weekly ministry opportunities we have many special activities like Meltdown, Summer Trips, and Mission Opportunities that you will not want to miss throughout the year!

I am so blessed to partner with parents and lead the students in order to grow in God's plan for our lives. Please check out the exciting happenings of our Student Ministry on this website and Facebook, and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, ideas, or concerns!

No Wednesday Youth

There will be no Confirmation or Youth Bible Study this Wednesday. Please attend the Children’s Christmas Musical at 6 PM instead.

Pie and Caroling

Join us on December 17th, at 5:00 p.m. for Pie and Caroling.  Everyone is welcome to come along.  Bundle up and we'll climb into a trailer (think hay ride) and take a ride through our neighborhood stopping to sing carols for our neighbors.  Join us as we begin spread Christmas Cheer in our own backyard.  Afterwards we'll enjoy pie, hot chocolate and hot cider in the fellowship hall.  Please bring a pie (or other holiday treat) to share.  Questions, contact Darlene Henderson (850-602-4521 or via email at DandWH@aol.com) or Philip Brooks at Philip@stluke-umc.org or (850) 477-3145.

Youth Progressive Dinner & Christmas Party

Join us for our annual Youth Christmas party! All 6th – 12th grade students are encouraged to be a part of our progressive dinner: We’ll board  a trolley enjoying fellowship and good food. Afterward, we will play “sneaky Santa,” so you’ll want to bring an inexpensive, wrapped gift, to place under our tree in the youth building. Meet at the Youth Building - the trolley will leave at 5:15 p.m., so make sure you’re there on time!

9:30 Youth Sunday School Change:

We will no longer have the 9:30 youth Sunday School time starting on Nov. 12. We are trying to encourage the students to connect to the larger body of the church by attending service. For those students that are going to either the 8 or 11 am service, we would like to plug them into serving somewhere in the church. We will still have the 11 AM Sunday school for the Students. Please let me know if you or your student needs to be plugged in to serve somewhere.
